Well, my team informed me that there was not enough funds to rent the track and sprinklers personnel and to also purchase and install ABS and Stability software and hardware!  :icon_mrgreen:   So I decided for the much needed wet practice; so far I have done 5 - 7 seconds slower in the wet with the Formula.  Today, sometime I will be doing the GTE practice.  :icon_biggrin:

HaHa Monzaís deadly curbís with puddles here and there :steeringwheel:. There's defo going to be a few spins & long pit stops here. It should make an interesting race tbf, How long do we get before the puddles start?

I'm without a wheel this week whilst Fanatec sus out what's wrong. I'll be hosting though and running in director mode. 1 more trophy for the platinum.

What a terrible and recovery race I had in the Formula Renault.  I qualified a very promising 2nd Place and all of it evaporated swiftly in the first turn when I got a glance out of review mirror someone was loosing control on my right and coming fast.  Naturally, I could not turn-in and was hoping he was going to fly by but we managed to touch and that pushed me onto someone else on my left, while someone gave me the finish touch to my transmission.  I had to go slowly back all the way back to the pits and got wets installed.  Now my job was to make sure the wets lasted me all race long!  I managed to do it by being easy on them but not too slow while it was dry, but then it started to rain and that allowed me to begin a more controlled approach in order to save my left front.  I salvaged enough to be able to finish in 6th Place.  Now for my GTE race, I started last but managed to finish again in 6th.

Good races yesterday got off to a good start in the FR and watched the carnage in my mirror. It was nice that I was not involved for a change lol. This gave me a nice lead so I just kept my head down and tried to maintain the gap to rocket.
The Ford gt again felt awful after razing round in the FR. I just couldnít find the pace in quali. Had a good race though, at one point there 4/5 cars within 3 seconds for a few laps.

Haha watching bag trying to change his pit strategy while racing was quite funny lol. The changing weather was definitely a good shout. Maybe next season we could use more weather slots.

I think I was lucky in race 1. Having a bad qualifying and starting last saved me from the mayhem in the first corner. After the chicane I was in third and chasing down Cream for second. We were nose to tail for a good 4-5 laps until we pitted. Not sure what happened but cream was in the pits way to long. I came out in second and just had to keep it on the track as jod had a 20 sec lead.
Race 2 was horrible. Pitted to early for wets and was sliding off the track and missing the braking points. The good thing was the bag and Lmntr got together with 2 laps to go and I was able to steal 5th place.
I might not make the next race but will notify you all closer to start time.
Cheers.

Sorry lmntr it was my fault in the first race. I got a good start off the line and thought I could get down the inside but when it came to braking I got my rear wheel on the grass so when I touched the brake my rear end started to go round to the right and you was in front of me to the left the momentum took me into you I tried my best to straighten up to avoid you. Sorry mate I will be more careful at the start.

It happens to the best of us sometimes braking a fraction of a second later at the first turn.  As you said, more careful at the start.  Just like Vettel on Bottas last F1 race.  The road veers slightly to the left just before the chicane and it is probably why you ended up placing a wheel or two on the grass making you loose control.  I forgot all about it now as I will concentrate on the next race.
