Lotus 98T @ Imola
« on: October 13, 2017, 04:18:PM »

I thought this would make a good race as we all seem to like this Car and Track.

A few suggestions....

Practice - 20 minutes
Qualifying - 20 minutes
Race - 20 laps

Mandatory pit stop
Real damage
Real failures
2 x Tyre wear (or 4 if we are brave)

Settings - Spring, 14:00, and dry!
PS4 Pro
Playseat with G29
Pcars Dash on iPad and iPhone
Race with no assists and cockpit view

No idea, I read a Radical can do it in 1:50, so should be around 30-40 minutes?  Maybe 10 laps? lol

I don't mind, thought maybe we could one Thursday evening as a new championship hasn't started?

LOL, I feel your pain mate.  I set my PS4 up in my office, so I don't get that problem, although she makes me sit through some crap at times!!

Cool....I'll take 12 then, as in my pic :)

Are we supposed to run out of fuel 1 lap from the end?

You do realise this "driveable car" was running at half boost when we had some default fun, yeah?

It's a total animal. AKA a man's car.

Iím guessing here but in pc1 if you ran the Cosworth at full boost you get engine damage. I presume this will be the case here especially as this game is prone to engine damage.

In reality these cars ran silly Hp in Q but was turned down a lot for the race.

Haha when I first saw this post I thought you was practicing already. And done a race with full fuel loading and ran out on the last lap.

In p cars 1 the 98t engine blew on me a few times racing with a higher pressure. This was why I LOLíD at mechanical failures on. Remember the Indy cars at Road America at least they smoked as a warning the lotus just goes.

I am right up for this. Definitely this Thursday.
It does look like the perfect combination. I think that's the secret to good racing. Get the combo right.
I think 20 laps is perfect.
If we are stopping for tyres would the pitstops be manual or automatic?

Whilst I have no issue with damage being on, are we talking about performance impacting damage or full damage?
With performance impacting you can always limp back it to the pits. With full damage you can have a wheel come off and it's game over.

Optimists live longer than pessimists.
Turns out they're both right.
