Can't wait!!!!  I'm more excited now than I was installing the game the first time round lol.

We should all celebrate by racing tonight?

EDIT - I popped home to install the update, it started very slow then flew through.  Took about 5 minutes.  I do have 250mb download though

5 min errrrrr mines been going since 2hrs still not finnished lol

Here’s my mates comments think he is using a T300

I basically doubled all my FFB values (running Immersive) and the front wheel drive touring cars feel stupid good now. Seems as though this was how the FFB was intended to be.

Also HUD works, no menu lag, no setup saving and loading lag, cars now come with 2 default setups - loose & stable, bluetooth keyboards work.. all buttons now mapped, commence operation super immersion. J’adore 2.0

Sounds good to me boys

Wow! Right I'm going to test some stuff asap. :13:

Fingers crossed but could the game really be fixed that much that quickly?

Well, I have my console turned on but still waiting on update.  Still shows 1.03.    Maybe the US will get it later?   :icon_confused:

I have been doing some wet and ice racing tonight and it's a lot of fun. You can hold a slide if you catch it right.
Blipping the throttle on entry can step the rear out and with the right lock you can powerslide right through a corner.
It's a thing of beauty.
This is the game that I paid for.

USB Button box and UDP apps are all working great.

Not sure about my ffb settings now. I need to work on that.
There are 2 setups for each car too. Stable and Loose.

Optimists live longer than pessimists.
Turns out they're both right.

haha me and legacy was in the F50s at Imola last night and in one quali session with 4 random weather slots we had heavy rain, light rain, snow and heavy fog with rain. Now that was just fucked up!

TBF i have not felt much difference since the update apart from the annoying downshift lag. Although I was in a session yesterday where i could not leave the pits and was getting told to give the position back after overtaking some cars that had spun off? I also found out last night that if you dont ready up for the race it puts you in the pits. I was trying to adjust my pit strat and ran out of time  :embarrassed:

lol Jod, that Imola race was insane!

For me, this update has been fantastic.

The things that were bothering me most were:

FFB on G29
No UDP support

Both have been addressed, my G29 now feels fantastic and I finally have PCars Dash working!  Just need to sort myself out a button box now

Yes there are many bugs still and that horrible lag on multiplayer when someone joins/quits.  I read they are working on the graphics for the next patch to improve AA and hopefully draw distance and/or pop up, that would be nice!

Loving this game right now....

Yeah the lag/jerkiness when people leave and join sessions is a real killer. It's far worse than it was on PC1. In fact I'd take the PC1 situation any day!

That Monza race for me was a disaster. The 488 for some reason still has no feedback. I tried the NSX and R8 earlier and they were great - couldn't ask for more. But the 488 was unchanged after patch 2.0, so I had no chance when the track conditions kept changing. I spun loads of times.
