What do you think about this: I have numbered every car class in pCars according to this list: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?l=dutch&id=487414446
That way I can use a random number generator to create a list of cars for the Monday races, the track will be the same as the Thursday race (perhaps in some cases a longer or shorter variant of the track). When you remove the class we'll be racing in and kart 1, there will be 45 car classes left that can be picked in advance for the 12 week calendar.

Week 1: 35 = Vintage F1 A
Week 2: 2 = LMP2
Week 3: 1 = LMP1
Week 4: 31 = Historic Touring 2
Week 5: 20 = V6 Megane Trophy
Week 6: 8 = GT1x
Week 7: 6 = GT4
Week 8: 42 = Road B
Week 9: 28 = Vintage GT3
Week 10: 23 = Historic Group 5
Week 11: 5 = GT3
Week 12: 10 = FA

These have all been selected at random by google number generator (I rolled again when I got a number that was already drawn), so if people agree to this method, we can keep this list.

I added the excel file with all the numbered car classes as attachment

I like your idea of taking other cars for a spin following the same calendar on Mondays.   :great:     Good opportunity to check other cars as well!

I want to suggest to scrap race one since it conflicts with the pre-season promo races. That or move it to Sunday/Tuesday for just that race, Tuesday however will mean 4 race days in a row.

Did a bit of testing, but the old BMW grew on me, it's pretty fun to drive around Bathurst once you get the hang of the car. The breaks wear pretty fast though, the last few laps you will have to start braking pretty early.

Today will be the first day of testing the cars on this track so I appreciate the warning of worn out brakes at the end of session.   Good thing I took the Gulf for some testing so I know the track at the least and will not be lost totally.

I lost power and missed the touring car race.  Sucked big time. I'm starting to get into driving the tin tops and I must say that this is where the game shines. I can't believe I waited so long to drive these cars.  Since I had Pcars I've only raced in open wheel.

It was a fun little race you missed :( I had the worst start I ever had, I accidentally set it in 2nd gear and when I noticed that I down-shifted accidentally twice as the light went green. This screw-up did put me in a nice battle on the first straight with Nautilus directly in front of me and lmntr next to me. Thanks to the draft I could pull away from lmntr's side and get next to Nautilus into the first corner up the mountain, I made that work on the inside and started chasing Djuvinile and Chaospunx who both made a mistake allowing me to get into p1 at the last corner down the mountain. The rest of the race I had Chaos chasing me, but in the end I made fewer or at least less serious mistakes and brought it home.

This was my last race for a while. Hopefully I can finish my pain rehabilitation program in 6 weeks that way I can still drive the last 2 races of the season. If I need more time I will miss the rest of the season altogether.
Even though these Monday races haven't attracted the biggest fields (big understatement), I hope they continue and maybe slowly grow since I think it's fun to race in some cars you'd normally won't drive.

I would of joined but I can not keep taking over the living room and racing for 3 hours or i will end up a divorcee. plus after the embarrassment of the lmp1's last week and not knowing the track or the cars i thought i would give it a miss lol. i have only just started to setup the cars on this game as i just wanted to race plus not understanding what does what. But after doing a lot of reading and looking threw guides i have realised i still dont understand it that much and i takes me while to get a setup.  I am how ever looking forward to and will aim to get a bit of homework done before hand on:

19 Jun - Zuhai - 18 laps - V6 Megane Trophy - Renault Megane Trophy V6 (Renault DLC)
(never seen this track before but i like the megane they are tricky to drive)

10 Jul Brno – 14 laps - Road B - Ariel Atom 300 Supercharged, Ariel Atom Mugen, Aston Martin Vantage GT12, Audi R8 V10 Plus, BAC Mono, BMW 1-Series M Coupé Stanceworks, Caterham Superlight R500, Ford Mustang GT, KTM X-Bow R, McLaren F1, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Ruf CTR, Ruf RGT-8, Scion FR-S Rocket Bunny Edition
(I like the track i have raced it a few times with gt3's and i like the sound bac mono althow i have never used it on here on driveclub it was awesome)

 31 Jul- Donington Park GP - 21 laps - GT3 - Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3, Aston Martin Vantage GTE, Audi R8 LMS Ultra, Bentley Continental, BMW M3 GT, BMW Z4 GT3, Cadillac ATS-V.R GT3, Chevrolet Corvette C7.R, Ginetta G55 GT3, McLaren 12C GT3, Mercedes-AMG GT3, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3, Ruf RGT-8 GT3
(never seen this track before but i like gt3'S)

i cannot believe i have this game since release and then upgraded to the goty edition and only really raced gt3's on tracks i know from F1
