Am I right to think Sakitto is based on Suzuka?  I remember racing Suzuka way back on Ferrari 355 challenge on the ahead of its time Dreamcast, that game was tough, but good!

Full track list now confirmed, a massive 60 of them!  I swear I heard mention of Limerock a while back, shame this never made it, love that track.  Also no Sebring, apparently due to a massive license fee, so only 3 Nascar oval tracks plus old monza oval

Yes, sakitto is based on Suzuka. In fact they had already made a 1:1 replica of suzuka, but at the last moment the licensing deal fell through, so they removed 2 corners in the S-curves and the last chicane from the GP track. That way they had a track very similar to Suzuka but circumvented the licence :)

Compared to the current track list, there are very few new tracks, but at least they didn't remove any of the good tracks

I have never understood why car manufacturers and tracks try to leverage the licensing charges for the use of their products.
Who wouldn't want their product represented in a multi million pound game with worldwide reach?

Remember when Grand Prix 3 came out and Jacques Viellenueve refused to allow his image to be used for the money they were offering?
Micrprose just replaced him with an imaginary driver called John Newhouse.

I pre-ordered this earlier i went for the deluxe edition off the psn. https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-gb/games/project-cars-2-deluxe-edition-pre-order/cid=EP0700-CUSA04093_00-PCARS2PREORDER02 I hate having to get out my seat to change the disk lol. In the end i paid £65.59 using a voucher code from here https://www.facebook.com/cdkeyscom/app/393344207416996/?ref=page_internal and then buying 2 of these http://www.cdkeys.com/playstation-network-psn/psn-cards/playstation-network-card-35-ps-vita-ps3-ps4 you will need to create an account on cdkeys and do separate transactions for the discount on both psn vouchers then just pay the extra £4.99 on the psn(ps use paypal its a whole lot easier). I was looking at the hard copy on game.co.uk and its £48 quid with the jap car pack so for an extra £18.49 you get the season pass. The cheapest i could find the game is 39.89 from shopto.net or simplygames.com. but thats is with no extras so even based on that price the season pass is only £25 ontop and you have all the cars and future tracks.

That's pretty decent Jod!!  I went for the limited edition from Game, comes with the Jap Pack and also a smart steel case!

I bought Forza Horizon 3, ultimate edition on the xbox store for like £79.99, I felt sick afterwards as I had nothing to show for it lol.  I only done it so I could play at midnight when it launched.  I do try and buy disk versions where I can, so I have something to show for the money, or trade it if I get bored or don't like it.

Yeah i myself have been stung with a few shit psn games that i have hardly played and would of loved to trade in at the time (Hitman,ZAT). I do however buy all the call of duty games off the psn as i game share with my wife! she has a ps4 just to play call of duty for the first 4 months after release then gathers dust for 8 months lol. I look at it like this a Chinese takeaway is about £30 and it tastes good and lasts about 20mins. So as long i play the game for longer than a week its good value for money lol. Plus apart from GT Sport and the yearly F1 titles is there going to be another racing game anytime soon?

Here is a link to videos of every car and track available.  No Formula Gulf?  I know we won't race these next season, but I have a real soft spot for this car having raced it for so long now!

For those who aren't so ready to get into setups, Project Cars 2 has a proper engineer system where you answer questions about what's wrong and the engineer gives you advice the setup changes that are appropriate.
No more need to know the difference between Fast Bump and Slow Rebound!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07zCHc70Ea4

There is also what looks like a list of multiple setups for each track and the option to share a setup.
Nice!
