Hey

Been having a quick play at Leguna Seca, and am interested to hear how you guys take corner 6 (corner after bridge with central go-pro banner in video).  I have kinda got into a habit of cutting it tight.  Is this too tight?  If so, I need to break the habit and get another driving line

Cheers

Erm looks a bit tight to me as only half of your front wheel is on the track as the other is on the curb. But it's hard to tell from the view might of been better to show the whole car view. But looking at the below image shows your off the track from that prospective
Out of interest what was your lap times

Just had a go tonight. Early days yet but I'm into the 1:21.5s although destroying my tyres and I'm not taking a shortcut anything like that on that corner. How much of a cut will the game let you take before you get a penalty? That's the only thing that can police laps on the fly.

Best I've been able to find is mid 1:20s...

I like Laguna seca but I've never been that good at it. Yes finally at a track I know from my gran turismo days. :)

Congrats. Hope you get racing again soon.

Had a final go at setup last night and managed a 1:20.7 on race trim. As ever with my setups tho it's a bit unstable and bad on tyres. I seem to be finding myself having to drive round these issues. Still learning I guess. So if you're behind me just follow at safe distance and wait for the inevitable to happen! :(

I've seen another time on the gavra league that was a 1:19.8 here! Yikes!

I'm the same with this car, I can't seem to drive how I would normally and don't get much practice time to sort the problems out.

I suggest you have to make 3 pitstops to give the rest of us a chance :O I did a bit of practice yesterday and couldn't get under the 1.24.00. (in race trim, but I wasn't destroying my tires) Of course I'm a bit out of shape and my current condition doesn't improve things, but still, I see no way of even closing that gap to let's say 1.22

I'll go for that if whalley does too but I suspect he won't...

I think my problem is like turn-in oversteer which is quick but tricky and hard on tyres. Old Karting habits.

Has anyone also noticed that if you go a little bit wide on the exit of the left hander right after the corkscrew (the right apex between turns 9 and 10) and you take just a hint too much of that apex, it just launches you spinning to the left?

Not just you it's a bug with the game.

Tbh it doesn't happen often, In all the races I've done in leagues it's been a handful of times.

I think it happens when people get disconnected. Just pure bad luck tbh. Every online game I've ever played has had bugs. Pit stop bugs and cars sticking together are by far the worst in this one
