What have you been doing in our "off season"
« on: April 14, 2015, 04:30:PM »
For those that are still active, what have you been up to?

I've spent the last few months, and a few 's repairing my Ducati and actually getting out on it again now the weather has improved.

I also purchased a Gopro 4  camera and tested the chest mount out the other day, got some great footage

Apart from that?  got a new car and decided it's time to get a new wheel setup

I did race in AOR for a season, gettin 1 pole, 2 podiums and a win.

I've got that same wheel with a play seat. The wheel is amazing I can't wait to use it with project cars

Yeah i'm looking forward to it, which playseat do you have?  i was looking at getting the evolution but the only thing that stopped me was the bar between your legs, and for that price it wasn't worth it, so i went with the gt omega, however i have to wait a while to get it, i've pre ordered it, but both games will already be out before it arrives so that kind of sucks but oh well :icon_sad:

I think I got the evolution 😂 it looked nice I never considered the bar at the time. The bars not too much of an issue its just a all the wires around it.

The bar only ever annoyed me on my last wheel stand when i had to use the clutch pedal, it made it nearly impossible to heel & toe
so with my new setup i didn't want any compromise's.

I've played it. It's very realistic. I'm a bit worried that it's too realistic. I got hit off and it lead to my car packing in. And thinking back to the league, there was contact let's be honest. But the racing is phenomenal. The AI aren't quite as fast as you but they're very aggressive. If they see a move, they will do it. It's definitely good enough for league racing the customisation is so good. I advice is personally

I'll give it a try when my new rig arrives, not going to bother trying it on a pad, i've heard it's terrible unless you use a wheel.

it'll be an interesting couple of months
